Pong

Pong recreated with some extra juice and flair. Inspired by The 20 Games Challenge to learn game progamming with Godot by starting with simple games of the past.

I like the CRT look but only looks good when the viewport is large or full screen. So yeah, I know its bad to force my preferences but I'm forcing full screen to play it since it just looks better that way.

Controls

  • Mouse  - Paddle follows your mouse vertically; there's not much to it after that.
  • M - Mute/Unmute all sound
  • Right/Left-Arrow - Next/Previous song

Options

  • Easy/Normal/Hard difficulty options.
  • Play first to 3/7/11 points or no end at all, just keep playing.
  • Too fast, adjust the game speed to half speed. Too slow, adjust to double speed.
  • Volume adjusts available if you hate my taste in music or sound effects.
  • If you don't like screen shake you can turn that off

Still learning so please don't flame me if something looks a bit off or could be done better. Constructive critiques are always welcomed. Thank you.

Would cat trick again, the visuals and sound effects linked with the ball progressively getting faster, chef's kiss. Great game!

This one's great, love the vaporwave aesthetic and music choice!
